About Design For ROI

Kit SeeborgKit Seeborg helps businesses and organizations establish and maintain a high quality web presence. As a web strategist and integrated online media producer Kit translates high-level business goals into a project strategy then leads teams of information architects, graphic artists, media producers, writers, web developers and programmers to design and produce quality websites.

Design for ROI is the website consulting arm of Seeborg Strategies Inc., a online strategic planning and development firm that specializes in, but is not limited to, sustainability in the built and natural environments.

Prior to founding Seeborg Strategies Inc., Kit was the Senior Web Producer for WebTrends, the web analytics software company. From 2000 to 2002 she produced all web-based software launches for the WebTrends product line. She initiated and implemented a custom content management system, produced the company's website, managed the corporate intranet, the partner website for Microsoft, and WebTrends' international value-added-reseller site.

Before joining WebTrends, Kit was webmaster for the international consulting firm Lee Hecht Harrison where she initiated the online brand that remains in place today. She was part of a small but busy group of people who brought the entire company online. Her group was awarded the "Top Ten Best Products of 1998" by HR Executive Magazine for its web-based program, "The Road to Entrepreneurship" which integrated web, video and print. While at LHH, Kit developed and managed extranets for domestic and international strategic partners including BASF and Starbucks.

Prior to her work on the Web, Kit consulted to government agencies and businesses, implementing recycling and waste reduction programs for businesses, residential and multi-family facilities. She also served as assistant to the broker in the Recycling Division of Weyerhaueser Corporation.

Kit is a Board Member and organizer of the WebVisions Conference and was a speaker at the 2004 and 2006 events. She was a panelist at the 2005 South By Southwest Interactive Conference in Austin, Texas. She chaired the Software Association of Oregon's Ecommerce Conference in 2000.

Kit is a volunteer editor of Worldchanging local Denver and Portland blogs. She is a member of the Information Architecture Institute and a past member of the Software Association of Oregon and Internet Professionals Northwest. She has also judged multi-media competitions for the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. Kit received her B.S. in Geography with a focus on Environmental Planning as well as Project Management Certification from Portland State University.
